Here are two of Partick Hickley's hand printed cyanotypes, he did these on watercolour paper and then hand stitched in internal parts of the body on top of the image. This heavily relates to what I plan to do for my final piece because I am also working with cyanotypes and stitching.
Patrick Hickley is currently a student living and working in New Zealand.
I am inspired by his work because much like Matthew Cox' work up until now I haven't seen or done anything like this before.
I like his work because it is different and I like how the bright red thread stands out against the background. I also plan to use red thread for veins in the body.
