Norm Magnusson
Norm Magnusson was born March 20th 1960, he is a New York based photographer and the founder of the art movement, Funism.
His painted nature projects shows photographs of leaves/trees/stones and other natural things that have been changed to make the image more interesting to look at, he does this by painting directly onto to nature, he paints patterns and makes leaves look pixelated etc.

I have chosen to analyse this piece of work because i enjoyed re-creating it before and i really like the idea of painting nature. His work does not fit my theme of portraiture but i used the idea of his work to inspire me.
