Research: sight, sound, taste, touch and smell

Primary Imagery: How can you embed all of the five senses into one picture?

Initial Experiments: braille, embossing, text, materials, moving image.

Why have you selected this starting point?

I have chosen 'the five senses' as my starting point because out of the five starting points to choose from I liked the look of this one the most. It also gave me the most ideas from just reading through it.

What are you planning to look at for primary/secondary research?

For my primary research I plan to look at pictures of the inside of a human body and photography people (full length portraits). for my secondary research I plan to look at artists that have photographed the human body. I also plan to take macro photographs of fruit skin.

-Adam Fuss

-Edward Weston

-Matthew Cox

and

-Irving Penn

What materials/techniques would you like to experiment with?

I would like to experiment with Photo-shop and embroidery and embellishment.

Which experiment(s) are you planning to make?

I am planning to sew into my photographs and make double exposures in Photo-shop. I also would like to do some macro photographs of skin. Why have you selected this starting point?
