Amy Friend - pin dots through photo then shine light through

Amy Friend re-photographs her images after creating pin dots on certain parts of the photograph then shines a light though it, this gives the image a very different look and makes it much more interesting to look at;

I took one of my photographs and put pin holes in random areas highlighting certain pars of the image, I enjoyed this task because I was happy with the results but if I could do it again differently then I would use a portrait photograph as landscapes are not as easy to work with, here is my final out come:
