Jamie Beck influenced GIF's

This is one of Jamie beck's animated GIF's, only her hair is moving but it is still very affective as a GIF.
more of his work;

 I like this artists work as it isn't conventual photography but the stillness is still apparent in these moving images. As only a small part of the image is moving the effect isn't over the top, but it is still very much present in the photographs.

I decided to do my own version of Jamie's GIF's, for this I photographed my younger brother on his skateboard.
I made these photographs into a GIF by;
-Opening my photographs in PhotoShop; file-script-load files into stack
-Selected; window-animation
-Duplicate layer
-Add the second photograph by hiding the first layer
-Continue the above step with all layers
-Shift click all of the boxes in the animation box
-Change the time to 0.25 seconds
-Save the GIF as image and html
My first attempt at this didn't go as well as I wanted it to go;

I then opened all of my images in PhotoShop and cropped them to reduce the jerky look of it;

I was more pleased with this outcome as it ran more smoothly. To do this I cropped the images so that they were all lined up and I also changed the exposure of 2 of the photographs so that they were all the same brightness.
